Though it could be worse, the gap between them and the non relegation zone is not that big, position 15 is only 2 points away. Still its going to be a hard battle out of the lower regions, their competitors are teams like Dortmund or Freiburg. Meeting Hoffenheim in their next away game could be a good possibility to get the next three points, because the VfB is one of the best teams on the road in the Bundesliga. In the away ranking they are currently on position 4 with 3 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses. They collected 13 points away so far, which is not that bad. Maybe they can improve this record against winless Hoffenheim who lost 3 times in the league in the new year.
